Implementation and Waiting List (Archived)
After two cycles of inviting participation and implementing sites, the Walk In Wireless in Public Libraries Project has assisted in instituting public access wi-fi in 60+ libraries. Several libraries remain to be implemented as of August, 2005. Should there be any equipment or other resources left after that, the Maine State Library will attempt to assist a number of other libraries in setting up this kind of service. Libraries are invited to request that they be added to a "waiting list" against this possibility. Here are the current implementation, waiting lists, and past implementation.
